Director, Head of Credit Research

Denzil De Bie, CFA, is a Director and Head of Credit Research - Europe at Conning where he is responsible for credit research of European Financial Institutions. Prior to joining Conning in 2015, Mr. De Bie was employed as a Credit Specialist at Pension Insurance Corporation and Director at Fitch Ratings where he spent about a decade covering Financial Institutions across developed and emerging markets with assignments in London and Johannesburg, South Africa. Mr. De Bie is a graduate of The University of South Africa with a Bachelors degree in Law and an Honours degree in Risk Management. He holds an MBA from Warwick Business School in the UK and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a member of the CFA Institute.
