Rob Miller Joins Conning Asset Management As Senior Sales Executive

Hartford, CT, December 6, 2006 - Robert D. Miller, an experienced marketing executive in the U.S. insurance asset management space, has joined Conning Asset Management as a Director. He will be based in Hartford, CT.

Miller, who joined Conning on February 5, will be responsible for marketing Conning's asset management services and products to insurance companies throughout the U.S., with a focus on the life insurance sector. He will join forces with Conning's Insurance Business Development team, led by Jack Corroon.

"With more than a decade of experience in financial services and insurance, Rob is a valuable addition to Conning. His appointment is a significant step forward in our expansion plans for the Life and Health sectors, as well as other specialty areas in insurance" said Walter Blasberg, Managing Director of Conning's Client Business Development group.

Prior to joining Conning, Rob was Head of Insurance Business Development at Dwight Asset Management. He began his career in 1989 with Citibank, joined the Vermont Department of Economic Development in 1994 and served as Commissioner from January 1998 to September 2000.
